Posted January 25, 20232 yr I know this is probably not the right forum for this, but I was hoping for maximum exposure on this topic in hopes to share information for those who may want it. If the Eagles make it to the Super Bowl, is anyone on here going to try and go to Arizona for the game? It is CRAZY expensive. But, does anyone have advice/recommendations as far as how to go about doing this in either the easiest and/or most economical way? Look for packages? Who to use for packages? Book things separately? Should we try to book something immediately after the game or wait for a day or 2 to see if the Eagles or anyone affiliated with the Eagles put out some package deals? I'm wondering if prices for flights out of Philly to AZ will skyrocket right after the game if the Eagles win. Did anyone go to Minny for the last one? If so, how did you go about it?

Imo it would be best to book everything earlier with the ability to cancel. Sometimes it's cheaper to forfeit plane tickets than buying cancelation insurance. Most hotels allow you to cancel within a certain time frame.

Found a few in other areas further away, but they all have non-refundable deposits (so if book now and Eagles don't make it, would lose out on a chunk of money). I'm guessing it's cheapest (relative term) to book hotel/flight/tickets all separately vs. getting a package. Some of the packages for hotel + tickets (no flight) I've seen start between 8-9k per person 😵

It's ridiculous looking at hotels' rooms and see their normal price is, say, $300 a night, then for the weekend of the super bowl it's between $1500 - $2000 per night! I actually did think about the RV thing....but I just don't have the time to drive out there and back...plus the time there. Unfortunately.
January 25, 20232 yr When I went in 2018, this is how I rolled: - Got on StubHub and watched prices explode immediate after the NFCCG. - Found a section within my relative affordability range and paid attention to ticket quantities over a week or so - Kept checking as prices dropped as the week went on and tickets in that section went unsold. - As soon as quantities hit a risk point of missing out altogether and prices dipped, I pulled the trigger. Got my seat at a MUCH lower price than they would’ve cost the day they made the big game. Still cost $3750 after broker fees…and worth every penny.
January 25, 20232 yr I went in 2005 and was a young kid and couldn't drink so flew down by myself the day of and flew home the the next morning. Went in 2018, and this got an AirBnb for the long weekend. And bought my tickets from Tickpick. First row of the 2nd section, loved my seats for the game. If you really want the best deal on SB tickets, you buy them the day of. It sounds risky but ticket prices drop dramatically the day of for pretty much every sporting event.
January 25, 20232 yr SB isn't if your avg fan anymore. My buddy told me his neighbor sells eagles playoff tickets (to eagles fans), in hopes he will collect enough money to buy SB tickets.
January 25, 20232 yr Went in 2018 with @Hoagie. I think we paid like $1400 per ticket. 2nd level row 8. Right around the goal line. Had to fly in from Florida which was 300ish. We waited until the week before so I was limited on hotels and could only find one about 10 miles outside of the city. Hotel was 200 a night. Went thru a broker. All total I spent just under 3k.

Have you looked at the prices for this one? I am kinda thinking about letting the dust settle first and waiting in hopes prices go down, but then I feel like that's risky in being able to find a place to stay and get a flight. Thanks for sharing what you did, definitely food for thought.

I do agree about waiting, but def can't wait until the day of. Just can't book flight/hotel and all that and then "hope" to get a ticket last minute. Ugh.

They literally price out the average fan. 1 hour ago, Captain F said: Went in 2018 with @Hoagie. I think we paid like $1400 per ticket. 2nd level row 8. Right around the goal line. January 25, 20232 yr If this helps, In 2018 we went through Prime Sport, but I think they have been bought out from someone else now. Ticket and pregame party. Price is on the ticket in this photo. Seats were up in mid 2nd level. Stayed at a hotel in Saint Paul for $180 a night and the flight was not too bad about $400 round trip had a layover in Detroit the way there nonstop the way home. All in was about $4000.

January 25, 20232 yr I heard the avg. price for SB tickets for good seats is about $5,500 per ticket.
