He actually said NFC, not NFCE.

Thank you.  Top to bottom the AFC is head and shoulders better than the NFC and it’s not even close.  That’s the point.

Dude seriously?  Fly Eagles Fly and all that but once you get past the Eagles and the Niners the quality of the NFC falls off the cliff.

First, the NFC had 2 more wins head to head than the AFC did this year.

Second, The AFC had KC, Buffalo, and Cincy and then fell off a cliff. There was no secret AFC depth.

The NFC went 4 deep with 12+ win teams. Minnesota won 13 games and went 4-0 vs the AFC East, 5-0 vs the AFC.

Are we pretending the Chargers and Ravens made the AFC great?

The only cliff the Giants fell off of was playing Dallas and Philly (0-5) They were 5-0 vs the AFC including the Ravens and Jags. They were 10-3-1 when not playing Dallas or Philly.

This is completely false in every way.

Justin Herbert is 7-7 vs the NFC but the AFC has Justin Herbert so the AFC must be better...  👀

Trevor Lawrence is 1-9 vs the NFC but he's a blue chip QB so the AFC rules?

Cousins is 23-16-1 vs the AFC but its fun to laugh at Cousins so lets pretend he is bad vs the AFC.

The AFC has Belichick. Oh, Mac Jones is 3-5 vs the NFC.

Joe Burrow is 6-5-1 and in no way dominating the NFC.

I think what you mean to say is Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen dominate the NFC (18-2) and (16-5)

Tua and Lamar usually dominate the NFC in theory but they have to be on the field to do that.

Repeating: The AFC was 2 games below .500 this year. That is not dominance. Its not even mediocrity.

You might be able to show that the AFC South was abused but so was the NFC South.

Honestly he deserves it for the two Saints trades alone!

No idea how they let him just own them like that, but getting Brown the way he did was just as masterful.

Then AJ showed the Titans what they lost & it got their GM Jon Robinson fired immediately!

Where's that Howie as The Godfather pic?

This is PFWA, I believe is different than AP. That is probably announced in NFL honors night

Yeah, I’m here to eat some crow. I’ve always been critical of his draft mistakes but overall he put together a great team, no matter what happens today.

Howie is the American Dream. Chase your dream. Never give up. Work your butt off when you get the chance.

Eagles have 11 starters on Offense.

Ten were drafted.

That’s……pretty good.

It’s a bit different on the Defensive side of the ball, though.

Well, given that so many on this team will become FA and the fact that we have to pay Hurts, makes it a lot harder to repeat again. Actually, things get worse after a SB appearance.

That is what many said before we signed Wentz after the last Superbowl.

I would happily take a SB every 5 years over the 50+ years prior. The fact of the matter is Howie knows how to maneuver and build a top team to win it all.

If anything, this season has shown that the last Superbowl was not a fluke, it has shown that Howie really knows how to build a great team from the ground up. The team has had a complete overhaul since the previous Superbowl in the space of 5 years and is already back at the top.

Looks like Howie Roseman put his doubters to bed for good.  What a job he has done as of late!

I feel like the NFC is headed for another decade of dominance like in the 80s and 90s. The AFC has better QBs thats about it.

Howie is the best GM in the NFL. And some fans have wanted him fired basically every year for the last decade.

Howie deserves every accolade he gets. He's been terrific for the last 5-6 years and seems to be getting even better as time goes by. In this era of Free Agency, GM's are hired with the hope that they can take an incomplete roster and build it quick enough, and complete enough, to win a championship. Howie has done that and is on the cusp of doing it again in a 5 year span. To me, Howie Roseman is now an A+ GM, and everyone knows I was very hard on him when he wasn't. As an Eagles fan, I am extremely happy he's the team's GM.

So this protects him for how many years? 4...6?

I think the better way to think about it is QB cycles. I think it buys him 2.
