the Cardinals have paused their search until after the Super Bowl so they can focus on Jonathan Gannon

They can have him.

Bye Gannon. Please don’t come back after your interview tomorrow.

Gannon and Steichen have benefited from having enormous talent at their diposal.......the players have covered up alot of shortcomings with the both of them.

Steichen is a lousy playcaller and not creative at all.  That parallel to the line pass is horribly worthless and he runs it all the time....no better than spiking the ball.  Hurts running the ball 15 times and the RBs 17 times......WTF??  Can't f------wait until he's gone.

Gannon was completely overmatched today......couldn't adjust to Reid's adjustments.  Didn't blitz when his defensive line couldn't get to mahomes.......just a terrible game by a DC in the biggest game of the year.

They were both products of having really good players.

It's weird, the Eagles defense has a lot of talent (finally) and perform despite their coach.

Bye Gannon.

How is Johnson? I don’t know much about him. Who takes Gannons place now? Lots of questions.

Pray that Gannon gets a HC position.  They won't fire him and he is a liability.

I’m praying hard for it.

Good Fing riddance...

Well said...Gannnon and Steichen's play-calling single-handidly cost us a championship

It's ashame because we had a wealth of talent on both sides of the ball, too bad the were so Fing incompetent to handle it

Gannon will be gone

NFL wanted Mahomes and had Gannon let players run free and wide open, refs as well

$$ talks the fans are the only losers that waste their energy on this crap

Gannon is hugely underrated on this board. He’s done a really good job this year.

This didn't age well, lol.

His terrible gameplan and inability to ditch a terrible scheme is what just cost us a SB. Good riddance to him

Unfortunately this is why he’s probably back.

Gannon will be back, unfortunately

The funny part was how we kept hearing how Vic Fangio was helping out the defense this week. Yeah thanks….

Who can we get to replace him at DC? Lovie Smith is a big name that comes to mind.

I don’t mind the OC.

I’m hoping for a DC who has interest in stopping the other team and trying to dictate the games rather than letting the offense do what they want and causing your fingers for a mistake.

Doesn’t seem like that Vic Fangio trick worked. What’d he say, "Let receivers have free releases, rush 4 the same exact way every play, and make sure you overreact to pre-snap”

I'm hoping Gannon is gone.  Playing soft zone with Slay, Bradberry, Maddox, and CGJ??? His terrible strategy cost us the Super Bowl. How can you allow Mahomes the chance to pick us apart like that? You gotta let the players play.  Terrible!

Bye

I’ve said before, the talent on defense out played Gannon’s incompetence. Much the same way coaches like Switzer, Gruden, and Billick have also won Super Bowls. Their talent was better than their coaching.

Gannon's performance in the biggest game of the season was what was going to ultimately solidify my opinion of him.  He failed miserably. There's the door, don't let it hit you on the ass on the way out.  Can't even beat a QB who's playing on 1 leg.  1 stop the whole game? Seriously?   Just go.  Please just go.  If he refuses to go then please kick him in the ass to force him out the door.

Honestly, after what I saw tonight I am thinking ANYONE could probably replace him and do a better job.

F Gannon…bye.

Steichen is pretty much gone. Gannon’s got an interview today. I wonder if he was more concerned with that than his current job…. I still worry about the next choice of DC. We haven’t seen an aggressive DC since JJ. It’s been mediocre DCs since.

Can we poach Fangio from the Phins now? 😁

Well reportedly it was Fangio's recommendation to run a soft zone last night which obviously was a disaster (and then the inability of Gannon to adjust away from it compounded matters).

Gannon went up against a great QB and said QB tore up his D. Just like all of last year. Held the Chiefs to 7 first half points, but KC adjusted and just ripped us up in the 2nd half.

I was very surprised at how bad the Eagles running game was all night.
