Eagles QB Carson Wentz among the top-3 in the NFC in big-time throws during 2019 NFL season

 

Even with a depleted receiving corps and a lack of speed on the roster, Eagles star quarterback Carson Wentz was still able to rise and lead his team to another division title.

Wentz was huge down the stretch and made a ton of big-time throws, so many, that Pro Football Focus ranked him No. 3 in the NFC in that category.

Wentz finished 16th in PFF’s 2019 quarterback rankings and he was excellent when playing under pressure and outside of the normal play structure due to all the injuries around him.

With DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery returning along with a bevy of young wide receivers, Wentz should even better in 2020.

I mean anything extra out of the WRs will be a lot more than Wentz had last year.
