March 30, 20232 yr Just pick the best player available at 10. I dont care who it is as long as its not a QB.

I am not as focused on where we pick, whether we stay at 10, trade up or down (so long as we don't trade down too far). I just want an impact player and best chance of hitting on one is obviously top half of the round.

March 30, 20232 yr I like when they add some depth and competition with cheaper signings like the ones they've done lately. They're not "the answer" as a starting position or future, sometimes a stop gap or just depth. The guys that were high draft picks from other teams but either had injury issues or just struggled a bit, that's a low risk/high reward. If they end up doing well, great. If not, then they get cut or just leave in free agency after their 1 year deal. It also makes them not desperate for any position in the draft. They can truly go BPA other than certain positions they won't draft high. They can follow the pattern like last year of drafting guys that you can afford to have them rotate in and develop and then grow into a starter when they're ready. Or, if they are up to it they win a starting job that's great too but the pressure isn't there. Just please don't screw up the two 1st round picks.

So many people think every signing is a front line player.

March 31, 20232 yr Amos and McLeod still out there if the Eagles want to add a FS. Can't imagine they would cost much at this point.

Quote He suffered a torn ACL in a pre-NFL Draft visit with the New York Giants that sidelined him for all of 2018 and for all but the final three games of 2019 Damn, what the hell do the Giants do with players on their pre-draft visits?
March 31, 20232 yr Eagles just keep adding players. This was an incredibly active FA period for Howie. They’re getting young FAs on top of that. Guys who are still hungry and have some versatility. Still have their two first round picks in the pocket as well. Yeah they have a difficult season ahead, but they still should be considered contenders.

April 3, 20232 yr FWIW in AJ's 3 TD game vs Pittsburgh they actually had Edmunds lined up on him like a corner on the first one. I don't think he was involved in the other 2. If we are using Edmunds as a corner on the other team's #1 WR then its not an Edmunds problem.
April 19, 20232 yr Howie is up to something: https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/eagles-restructure-jordan-mailatas-contract-future-cap-savings-source Budda? Byard? Jacobs? Ekeler? Something is going down.
