O will be really set when they draft Bijon Seriously folks, I do think Howie has some move in that will on paper look like an improvement. This entire offseason has been about mitigating losses which is understandable but it's not a great feeling to go into a season hoping you didn't get too much worse while other teams improve.

That's the case every year especially after a Super Bowl run. Rare to have sustained juggernaut teams in the era of the salary cap. Even New England had a ton of moving parts throughout their run with the constants being Belicheat and Brady. Now it's Reid and Mahommes with a constantly evolving team especially at the skill positions. Good teams find a way. Howie and Co seem to be in a very good spot with the number of assets they have for the draft this year and next. The trenches are aging fast so I suspect that's where a lot of the draft capital will go. Howie has an extreme advantage in that players want to come play with Jalen and Siri. It will help him with his contract magic should an opportunity arise. He has another trick up his sleeve I'm sure. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he lands another established all-pro this off-season. The question is who?

Outside of Bijon there were no skill position visits at all. No LBs and I think one safety. Matches with their priorities and while I think they'd take a good value pick at the non-visit positions I think generally what you see is what you get there. Baker would be nice but money seems off. Byard seems like he'd be the closest to a Bradberry type situation possibly if they cut him late

April 19, 20232 yr I’ve always liked him. He’s been a 3rd wr his pro career. Quez’ snaps may be dropping on deck.

April 20, 20232 yr O'Zac imo will be an excellent slot receiver ... dude was able to get over 500 yards as a slot on a team that hated to throw the ball. Watkins goes back to the outside as a backup where he's a better fit; he's just not a slot guy imo.

April 20, 20232 yr Howie and Nick PC question about their history of not drafting RB or LB in round 1. Howie: always take opportunity to get a "unique player" and you narrow your options if you only focus on certain positions, especially when drafting that high which doesn't happen that often.
April 20, 20232 yr Howie on Jalen Carter at #10: they rely on Dom DiSandro to do this thorough work on any player that might have "a situation that may be outside the norm."
April 20, 20232 yr Twice in the press conference, Howie referred to Cam Jurgens as a starting O lineman. He even went down the line from LT to RT and mentioned Cam as RG in order.

Another underwhelming depth TE, honestly with Goedert coming up for contract restructure / extension, the Eagles seem to be picking back up tight ends that make him look absolutely indispensable when he's out. I'd have taken Cameron Brate of the free agents still on the market.
