This is precisely why they drafted Dean and let him mostly observe his first season. Teams know who they're going to keep and who they're not seasons in advance.

But they can let Seumalo walk and play him at RG for a year now. What great experience to line up between Kelce and Johnson. And also ditto Davis. Since they lost Hargrave Davis is likely to start in 2023.

Plus with Dean he fell in the draft due to injury concerns, and it was known he would not play immediately as a rookie. He didn't need to given the starters we had (finally we had LBs to be proud of!). He started getting playing time as the season went on, some garbage time when resting starters which was good experience for him. He seemed to play well given what opportunities he had. Rookies tend to benefit from their 2nd offseason because they don't have all the combine and other pre-draft activities, and they are focusing on their designed workouts and preparation with their pro team, learning more of the playbook, studying film, etc. that is 100% focused on their pro team now. He was a leader of the Georgia defense and well respected. I'm excited to see what his potential is.

Wasn't sure if he was guard material or not.

March 13, 20232 yr Jurgens can play RG then move to Center when Kelce retires. They can get a RG later.
March 13, 20232 yr Cowboys creating more space just now while the Eagles lose players, I thought Howie was the cap genius

A backup OL, an average LB, a fringe starter at safety….only real loss is Hargrave and they can replace his production with Williams and Davis. Not to mention the defense will be different in scheme so Howie is gonna go get the players they need

Edwards was the 2nd biggest loss IMO … I was hoping to bring him back and let White walk. Perhaps they do the reverse now. They drafted Dean last year to step into one of those spots. Still hoping we bring back CJGJ and then possibly plug Blankenship into the starting spot next to him. Suh and Joseph were added on cheap deals midway through the season. Either could likely be brought back later if they indeed wanted to do so.
