Byron Murphy (Cardinals CB) -- SIGNED WITH MINNESOTA

I was a big advocate of drafting Murphy the year the Eagles got Dillard. I think Murphy has gotten better every season and the cardinals are crazy for not resigning him. Murphy is 25 years old. He is definitely a better player in zone coverage (where he makes his money) but he has improved in man coverage. He is physical and would be a perfect replacement for Bradberry imo. He will definitely be cheaper but I think this is one of those unrated signing if the Eagles can get him for the right price. Murphy can be CB1 also if they do lose Slay. would be a fantastic CB2 if thats how it shakes up. I don't think it is wise for the Eagles to go into the draft with a large need a corner, especially if Slay is traded. Knowing Howie, he likes to keep his options open so I do not think this is a stretch.
