Rob331
First - the needs Starting safety - likely a free agent. Amos, Johnson, Rapp, Edmunds Defensive tackle - need another stud for our 4 man rotation Starting linebacker - Morrow isn't the answer to pair with Dean Interior offensive line - battle Jurgens to start at RG and/or start when Jurgens moves to center next year Tackle - Dillard's replacement and could eventually replace Layne 4th wide reciever - another likely free agnet signing. Richie James? Robbie Anderson? Jarvis Landry? Running back - could be higher but I think a room of Penny, Sermon, Gainwell, and Scott is adequate Back up safety - Chachere and Wallace aren't my idea of quality depth Punter - we're just not good enough Back up linebacker - like safety our depth is not up to par OK - 10 identified needs with 2 likely free agent signings BUT only 4 premium draft picks. Most of us have been on the trade, trade trade bandwagon and I;m still firmly in that court. Trade 10 for a mid 1st and a 2 Trade 30 for a 2 and a 3 Future picks for a 4 The draft - 1 - DT Brian Breese. 6'5" 300 5.1 Clemson. A quality rotational player this year and a starter next 2 - S Antonio Johnson. 6'3" 200 4.52 Texas A&M, We miss getting Branch but Johnson can start 2 - LB Drew Sanders. 6'4" 244 Arkansas. The perfect partner for Nakobi Dean 2 - G/C Steve Avila, 6'4" 334 5.3 TCU. A bookend for Dickerson 3 - RB Zach Charbonnet. 6'1" 220 4.53 UCLA. The competition between Charbonnet, Sermon and Penny will be a sight to see 3 - LB Jack Campbell. 6'5" 243 4.80 Iowa. Can be called an edge player also. 4 - OT Jackson Kirkland, 6'7" 310 5.25 Washington. 7 - S Brandon Hill, 5'11" 195 4.43 Pittsburg. A height-weight-and particularly speed pick. 7 - P Michael Turk. Oklahoma. Siposs needs to go back to putting a shrimp on the barbee. Who says you can't fill your needs all in one season.
Breeze 44
I'd be happy with this draft.. only 2 things, I'm not as high on Charbonnet and i don't think Campbell will make it out of early @nd at best...I love Campbell and figure him to be the defensive captain year 2..so maybe switch him and Sanders. There are a couple RB's I like for us that can be gotten 3 or 4 , Kendre Miller, sean Tucker or Chase Brown.. but i really like this . Good job
