Posted March 25, 20232 yr Anyone think that there's some songs where the end, typically the outro, is the best part of the song? There's a few that come to mind for me, and I love the album versions, but when I hear the short versions on the radio it aggravates me. It needs to be the full album version to me. There are two off the top of my head: Fleetwood Mac - Gypsy Prince - Purple Rain There's a couple more that I come across from time to time, but escape me at the moment.
March 25, 20232 yr I wouldn't necessarily call it the best part, but I've always liked the outro to Black Sabbath's "Heaven and Hell."
March 26, 20232 yr The last minute or 2 of both these songs are some of the finest hard rocking ever recorded.

March 28, 20232 yr Author Black and Epic are two great ones. Black was one that I was thinking about, but was escaping me at the time. I love the piano part in the last 30 seconds or so in Epic as well.
March 31, 20232 yr Author I like the very, very end of this song: the four little notes right after the last word in the song. It lasts only a second or two (3:08-3:09 below), but it's a nice little flare to finish the song off.
