Signed - Nicholas Morrow , Terrell Edmunds, Greedy Williams, Marcus Mariota, Rashard Penny,

Re-Signed Fletcher Cox, James Bradberry, Brandon Graham

Extension Darius Slay, Lane Johnson

Free Agents
Myles Jack LB 1 year 1.5 million (750k) guaranteed -

Myles had a down year for the Steelers but that was everyone playing for them and a lack of pass rush and defensive lineman to protect him made his job way harder than it will be for him as a Eagle. He brings speed and playmaking ability with some serious physicality.

Quinton Jefferson 1 year  3.5 million 1.75 guaranteed. Still under 30 and a excellent pass rusher that can help replace Javon Hargreave. We love to have waves of lineman to keep them fresh , this year is no different. He also played for Desai last year.

Draft

Eagles trade the 10th overall , Derek Barnett and a 2024 6th round pick to the Washington Commanders for the 16th, 47th, and 215th pick.

Eagles select Nolan Smith Edge Rusher 6-2 235 4.39 40, and a 41.5 vertical .If Hassan was ever to get injured we would be in trouble without someone who can play exactly like him. However Nolan is much more than just a pass rusher. He is an elite run defender for a guy his size and he is probably the best athlete on the field. He gives us a great tandem and greatly improves our defense.

(30th)  CB-Dawand Jones T Ohio St 6-8 345 - out of all the insanely huge lineman we have he would be the biggest. He has great footwork for a man as  big as a bear. He can’t be bullrushed because his arms are so insanely long no one can yet get inside to his pads. When he gets to run block you’re going for a ride, once he gets his hands on you it’s over. He showed at the senior bowl he has more than enough athleticism so play LT. However he will be groomed to play RT his natural position for when Lane Johnson decides to retire. One thing Howie has shown is he puts the majority of his assets into the lines. This year is no exception.

TRADE

Washington’s second round pick to the Houston Texans for their  two third rounders the 65th and 73rd picks. We get the first pick of the 3rd round and the 73rd that was originally from Cleveland. We continue to gain a couple more assets.

62 Adetomiwa Adebawore 6-2 283 4.49 40. Northwestern DL No one over 280 lbs has ever ran a faster 40 than this man in nfl history. Howie loves freakish athletes than have the tools be a dominant force and can be developed. Howie is always projecting for the future and while this kid will immediately play his full potential may take a year or two to fully develop. He has the ability to play up and down the line and truly is a posistionless player that can line up anywhere and give you a some serious pass rush at the 3 tech or move outside and set the edge. He may go higher but I’m betting he falls to us here.

(65) Sydney Brown S Illinois 6 205 4.41 - it’s time to seriously add youth to our secondary and retool the who group as a whole. Even if Keli stays at CB we need to continue to add youth and talent. Brown is a pure safety that has elite instincts and a great sense for the ball. He makes all the splash plays you could want for a safety and he loves to come up in the box to stop the run , and blitz and the QB.  We need to get real football players here at a cheap salary since next season Jalen Hurts contract wil kick in. This man will steal your

(73) Isiah McGuire DE 6-4 265 Missouri 4.73 40 a country strong kid that bullies some of the best competition and drives lineman back. In he run game he continues to reset the line of scrimmage. He has the relentless motor that you want and loves to run down backside runs and collapse OL then drive ball carriers down to the ground

(94) Johnathan Mingo -WR Ole Miss 6-2 225 4.51 - As long as I mock I’ll keep him on my drafts. The kid will be a AJ like clone. He came from the he same school he runs the exact same route tree as AJ, his contested catches are insanely strong. He lines up inside the slot and and along the outside and dominates corners. He is a YAC king 👑. The offense he plays in has similar passing concepts as the Eagles. With his tenacity and strength he would be able to be even better than Zach Pascal was when he played as the enforcer. He has excellent play speed and can track the ball very well. He’s one of my favorite players in this years draft.

(215th) Derrius Davis WR/RS TCU This man was electric for the Horn Frogs and was dynamite any time he touched the ball and he could seriously flip the field or take it to the house at any moment. He has elite open field vision and has elite speed to break open at any time. He is a better receiver than given credit for but as we know from getting Raegor it will take some time for a horn frog receiver to transistion to the nfl. However our special teams needs a huge upgrade. He can help.

(219) Jerome Carvin G/RT Tennessee 6-5 320 just another mean and tenacious man from Tennessee which has been a pipeline for offensive lineman. He’s got good pulling ability and knows how to get to the second level and likes to punish LBers in the open field. Has played tackle as well and can play both guard positions. A nice addition for Jeff Stoutland.

(248) Charlie Thomas LB Georgia Tech 6-3 220  We need more linebackers that can develop into starters and also help on special teams he has elite short area quickness shown by having the second best 20 yard shuttle  and has 313 total tackles and he has 7 FFs which is a great deal since our linebackers last year couldn’t get a turn over to save their lives. He’s another dominant athlete that has a ton of tools to develop into a future starting caliber player. As a bonus is an excellent blitzer with a 75+ pass rushing grade.

We address the Punter and the RB position with UDFAs which we can always find replacements Ben through trade during Training camp but I believe Trey Sermon will get his opportunity we wont have more than four backs and one on the PS so by the numbers we already have the game day actives on the roster already.

Hope you all enjoyed it!

nice read i’ll start with the washington trade… looking at the trade value chart washington is giving up about 140 more points then what #10 is worth depending on the reason of the trade up they could definitely be willing to do that trade without including barnett( who i think holds very little trade value, and the future pick)

i’ve seen Adebawore and Brown go much higher in some mocks but also if that area in several aswell so you never know i like both selections.

I like Nolen Smith and his speed a good seclection.

I know the eagles value the lines and have talked with Jones if i’m not mistaken i just can’t get excited about a first round offensive linemen, though i realize it’s a good possibility.

Would like to see a cb somewhere to compete and a lber sooner but overall good job

I always try and play like I’m Howie so as it gets closer to draft people understand that we need to be realistic when it comes to our draft picks. Trust me if I didn’t play as if I was Howie my favorites would be up all over the draft but unfortunately our picks never come to fruition of my wants or desires. I try to let the fans see realistic things and possibilities. Howie is unpredictable and predictable at the same time. I just want the fans to understand the players I believe he will be highly valued by our organization.
