Posted April 22, 20232 yr After Jalen Carter was off the board, I decided to make moves with our 10th and 30th overall picks to accumulate three additional 2nd round picks while still maintaining a top 20 pick (couldn’t let Nolan fall past 17…) I think the context of each team’s trade offer to us makes a lot of sense looking at how the board was falling I.e. Jets moving up for a top LT, Steelers moving up for the top WR, etc. I feel like I plucked quality talent at EVERY need that truly FIT our schemes to the T… Added a lot of offensive firepower in Gibbs and Rice (aka our new stud slot WR), along with plenty of defensive talent to begin developing as replacements for the next wave of vets leaving in 2024. Best part? Dallas whiffed on Bijan, WR, and OL… TRADES
