Welcome to Philly!

Thanks!

Glad we're getting Oline whether he'll end up depth or a starter

Which OT side is he best at?

Hope he works out as great as our last Alabama OL Landon Dickerson. in Coach Stoutland we trust!

Looks like right side.  Will likely play right guard once Jurgens takes over for Kelce in a year or two.  Can also play backup tackle when needed

Eagles got a 6th and 7th to trade back a few slots from end of 2nd to beginning of 3rd.  Leads me to believe the guys they were targeting in the 2nd were picked by other teams.  These picks seem to be a considerable cut below the score from last night.  Although check out how the Eagles draft another offensive player from Alabama.  Seems to be a fallback choice here.  And who are we to say it won't work out.

my thoughts. I think they liked Brown but new Steen would be there if they fell back. Now they get some camp bodies/projects late. Sucks they don’t have a 5th. really would love a RB

Can't be mad with a project O line pick at Stoutland University. We need a replacement for Seumalo anyways.

My guess is that one way or another, the Eagles land a good RB before opening day

That ras is insane, stout land special

Always love drafting O line for Stoutland University.

he is not a project, he is a starter on most teams right away, but given who we have already, he will probably be the first off the bench to be subbed in for his rookie year and if Lane does retire, he starts at RT next year.

Apparently he might be moving to guard because of his short arms. I think the Eagles announced him as a guard.

Solid pick!  Stoutland U will have this guy in the pro bowl in 2 years.

He will be the RG of the future after Jurgens does his 1 year secondment there.

Steen can be a pro-bowler at RG and serviceable at RT.

He's not the heir apparent to Lane at RT, the Eagles will want an elite replacement for Lane.

You really think Cam is gonna play guard this year? I don’t see it.  He’s small and weak and compare to Kelce is soft serve ice cream.  You can’t put him between lane and kelce. That’s a recipe for disaster.  Kid needs another year in the weight room before he’s ready to take Kelces spot.

He'll be fine, he's bigger than Isaac.

He’s the same size actually.  But I think Isaac was stronger - strictly my opinion I don’t have data on that.  I have seen video of weight room workouts though and Kelce out lifts both of them by a lot.  I just don’t think you want a "soft” guard who has to learn the position starting next year when eyes are on a SB.  We have a solid 5 year window and I’d rather they keep Cam on path to replace Kelce next year, while coaching up this kid and future Lane replacements.

I thought they might package 62 and 66 to move up for Torrence when he was dropping but they moved down.

I thought for sure they would take Dawand Jones of the OT's on the board, this looks like a coaches pick rather than BPA but what the hell. It's someone who's sitting for a year at backup guard / tackle.

Good move again. Makes a lot of sense as he can play OG or OT so gives us some depth. I’d imagine he probably ends up at OG but it’s good to have options.

He’ll probably be depth this year with Jurgens at OG who is a year ahead? But it gives us options.

Seems like he has a good guard body and it’s nice to have some versatility since losing both Seumalo and Dillard. Probably doesn’t start early but could end up being the eventual starting RG.

Might play RG now. Jurgens isn't guaranteed that RG spot. Iron sharpens iron.

Was secretly hoping for a huge trade for Branch but this seems to be a good alternative.

Usually this would sound bad but if the coaches pick is Stoutland going for crazy athletic traits I can‘t feel bad about it.

But Jones still hasn't been picked yet. Something that teams don't like about him I gather.
