RIP to a truly funnyman

One of the all time greats. Rest In Peace.

I didn't know that he was still around, but I hadn't thought about it. 98 is a good, long life. I always enjoyed his stuff. I think the first thing that I ever saw him in was the Dick Van Dyke show, where he played Alan Brady.

Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid has always been a massively underappreciated movie. And Rachel Ward is spectacular in it. Absolutely worth a viewing.

Incidentally I had Reiner in the death pool, which apparently didn't make its way over from the old site.

That was early 80's? 81 or 82? Or was it late 70's, like maybe 79? I went to that with my friends, in the theater.

He was in the Ocean's 11 series

This was taken 2 days ago when he was celebrating the birthday of his best friend, Mel Brooks

Early 80s. Maybe 82.

That's what I was thinking. I was 13 in 82, and I think that's around the time that I went to it. Seems like it was out in the same time frame as Airplane. I went to that one too.

RIP. A man with great delivery.
