Kelly Green Nostalgia. Let's not forget that we won the SB in Mid Night Green. Kelly Green to me represents decades of losing and frustration and futility. With that said, I will still buy a Jersey. It is a cool color.

Well, these unis past the most important test - Eagles came up with a big win.

Overall impression - they look great.  The eye in the Eagle is a little strange.  And the bird logo was in white.  The green seems a little lighter than the shade I remember during the Braman years, and a little more fluorescent too.  But a good look.

I think that the advent of high res HD TV is contributing to them looking a little different.

Bring it back permanently again.  I never liked the change to midnight green.  They should have kept Kelly Green but made modern updates and accent colors, which is what they've done now.

Hype was worth it. It was great to see.

Sounds like a you problem. Black Friday quickly approaches. 

They popped, they 'sparkled' (per Merrill Reese), they looked magnificent! 

I wonder if they would look that good during a day game. 

The color even looked good in the stands, that green really stood out on TV with all of the fans wearing it. As opposed to the Midnight Green, which is kinda dull, IMO.

Maybe so, but I was at the game and thought they looked a little "off” in person. They did not look as dark/deep as I remembered them being. Unless perhaps the stadium lights may have doing something to skew it.

I agree.  I'd rather have the midnight green be the alternates moving forward.

One thing that surprised me a bit was how much more I like the old logo.  It is probably almost as important in making this thing a success as the color.

They changed to midnight green at a time when a lot of pro teams in particular the NBA were changing to different fonts, updated logos and colors that were popular at the time, but not timeless.  Kelly Green was classic and timeless.

The Kelly Green color works great.  It was historic (we aren't going to talk about the blue and gold throwbacks ).

The argument was they looked too much like the Jets.  Well, then you add accent colors and combinations of pants and helmet to distinguish.  There are ways to modernize while still keeping the core color and logo. 

As for the argument that they won in Midnight Green.  It wasn't the uniforms that's silly.

• A Kelly Green team ended an era of losing and built a Super Bowl contender, and lost in the Super Bowl in 1980.
• A Midnight Green team ended an era of losing and built a Super Bowl contender, and lost in the Super Bowl in 2004.
• They finally won their first Super Bowl, then last year lost another Super Bowl in midnight green.

Don't forget: the 3 NFL Championships they won in Kelly Green.

The jersey colors don't equate to winning.  Kelly Green was the classic look that should be brought back.

Your in person observation is what my TV/Internet observation is, too and that's why I'd really like to see a side by side of old gear with new gear. I know that the color is custom, but I would think that the franchise could supply them with an old helmet and jersey to use as a guide. 

I'm not complaining about the new uniforms, I genuinely like them. But they do seem to be just a tad 'off', like you said. 

Did anyone notice that the helmets didn't quite match the uniforms? It might have had something to do with the materials, I guess. But they definitely didn't look the same.

If nothing else, I wish they'd go back to this logo and font...

Well, don't tell anyone but I've been in negotiations with Jeffery to switch to the Kelly Greens,  the old logos and the old font/wordmark by 2025 and in exchange, the Eagles will get a percentage of our Amazon link. The only sticking point is that I'm trying to get them to accept 1% but they're insisting on 50%.

So I’ve got a Kelly Green jersey but I’m a little gutted. So my brother ordered it for me and it’s with him in Chicago. When I choose the jersey I wanted the only choice was Hurts or Kelce. Well I’ve got the Kelce midnight green jersey so I opted for Hurts. A day later and there’s Reddick, Graham and Smith.

Not that I’m against Hurts, he’s great and he’s here long term but the QB is always the easy option. And being in the UK I always feel like it signifies a UK fan who’s not really in to it that much.
