These games are pretty meaningless for the majority of the starters. They’re basically a money grab by the owners.

Shocking they waived an injured player but the talk has been in camp that many of the corners were playing well so he might have been a victim of the numbers game regardless. 
 

Edit: After reading his waiver designation, I’m fairly confident he will end up the Eagles IR. I highly doubt he gets picked up by another team.
