If one feels the country is better off now than under the previous guy who had the job, the question was answered well within the parameters of the poll by mentioning the previous POTUS. August 22, 20232 yr Yes, every step away from Trump and his corruption, is a good thing. I know you "Independents" can't admit that, what with you kneeling, and worshiping Trump. Biden is a crap president, but a crap president beats a demented narcissist who only wanted the keys to the treasury. You know, the sort of a person who would praise Kim Jong & Putin, and taking their side over the USA's.
August 22, 20232 yr US leadership is reverting back to the mean pre-Trump. So yes I like the direction. Biden is mediocre but we were in a death spiral as a nation under Trump and Biden's mere presence as a sane rational president who puts the needs of the nation ahead of his own has helped arrest that. Inflation was primarily caused by pandemic related effects. The rescue act or whatever Biden passed overshot the mark and made it worse, but the damage was already done as demand and supply were out of whack and inflation was inevitable. And inflation is getting well under control. Laborers are seeing wage growth while knowledge and professional workers are seeing their wages fall back a bit. Hurts me personally but it's becoming more equitable nonetheless. After seeing how badly Trump manages a crisis it's mind boggling that anybody is stupid enough to support him. Boomers are clearly in mental decline. Procus and his geriatric buddies should just sit this one out.
