Unwatchable. And to think we have Ian Book to look forward to in the 4th.

D is painful to watch.

Smile Jeffrey

can one of these guys make a play

Apparently not.  We need better backups

That was unexpected

Yay

Backups? These guys hope to be backups.

I sure hope Nick knows what he’s doing. This team sucks

I’m out. See ya when it counts.

can this team tackle

That's a wrap.....Time for meaningful football!

I can't watch an entire pre-season game anymore.

I was just explaining to my other half how pointless they are. She saw the result and was disappointed that we lost. I had to calm her down! 😂

Went to Prime for the pregame show only to get a Please Wait sign with some background music. When the background music started buffering, I knew this would not be worth the wait. Listened to some of the game on the radio. After what seemed like an eternity, they announced the 4th quarter. From what I gathered, a Colts qb who I've never heard of was sacked by an Eagles defender who I don't recall being mentioned in any prior reporting. Punts seemed to go well for us but I'm sure that'll change.

Very few of the guys who played at all on this game will even be on the team. They didn’t just sit starters, but pretty much all of the second team too. I don’t think a single WR or RB that played tonight makes the team. On the defensive side, only Brown, Ringo, Johnson, Josiah Scott, and Wallace are likely to be on the 53. Maybe Ricks sneaks on, but that’s it.

Right I understand that part of the game last night. Unfortunately I watched all 3 games and what I’m noticing is lack of depth or talent on the roster behind the starters, no one really impressed me or stood out and we all know there will be a ton of injuries and whoever we plug in will mostly likely be an issue. That’s all I’m saying

I think I watched a quarter of the game.

I don't remember which quarter though, as the bad football just blended all together.

Preseason used to be a mix of the starters shaking off rust and the backups competing for roster spots.  Now the starters participate in joint team practices and preseason is just for backups and roster hopefuls.  You have to view preseason that way.  I liked when the 3rd preseason game was a full half of the starters to give you a nice glimpse into the first team on both sides.

Were any of those eagles on the field actually playing for a spot?  I was hopeful Sermon would do more than he has.     Mariota looks horrible,  I’d be very worried if we needed to rely on him.    You would think that a team full of nfl quality back ups / decent college talent we would at least get a competitive college game  quality to a preseason game.  It’s not even close.

How do you think Indy fans feel considering their starters were playing lol.

Yup.

The drop off in talent from the 1’s to the 2’s to the 3’s in the NFL is amazing. But at the same time, there isn’t much game planning for these games.

I wish we could watch the joint team practices, someway, somehow.

I would rather watch the joint practices as well. I HATE pre season games. They don't even put the starters out there for a few reps anymore. China Doll NFL.
