Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter is already establishing himself as an elite player after just his first three NFL games.

Carter, per Next Gen Stats, finished with five pressures on 16 pass rushes in Monday's win over the Bucs. He now has 15 total pressures on the season, which is tied for second among all defensive tackles.

Furthermore, Carter was double-teamed on 68.8-percent of his 16 pass rushes vs. the Bucs and still generated two pressures against the double-team. Carter is second in the NFL in pressures when double-teamed with six, behind only Micah Parsons, who has seven.

Through three games the Eagles' ninth overall pick has 1.5 sacks, 5.0 combined tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 QB hits and 2 forced fumbles while playing less than 50-percent of the team's snaps.

And he's just a rookie in his 3rd NFL game. The future looks very bright indeed.

Oh my god what! Playing less than 50% of the teams snaps whilst making that many big plays? That’s nuts!
