Hurts is the fans whipping boy and not this turd nugget. Let’s stop trying to compare Twinkle Toes to anyone but himself. Now he’s the one who claimed to be elite. I’d like to see him prove it out there on the field, but  running away from contact on a key third down isn’t the way to do it. Everyone claimed he was so good in camp. Where’s that guy been at? At this point I can think of about two really good plays from Quez. I can easily think of at least four… no five bad ones just off the top of my head. Let’s see Quez do something out there that shows he’s capable.

I thought he ran into contact? Which is it was he running away from contact or Into contact?

Tough to prove much when one is the 5th option in most passing plays.

Giving Quez 2 bubbles a game isn't giving him much to prove other than 175 pound WRs aren't bull dozers.

Who was blocking  for him in the play, 165 pound covey? 170 pound Smitty?

Where he been since camp, injured inactive that's where, tough to make plays from the tub.

He ruined a good block by trying to run around the play instead of going upfield. He ran into the defender because he was trying to avoid him. And you’re trying to trash Smith’s size well I’ve seen him not be afraid to take some contact and even break tackles. When have you ever seen Twinkle Toes do any of that?

Fair criticism. It’s cool. Just not a fan and I think we can do better there.

Barring a trade it is what it is this year

Quez is mis cast as a slot WR, his skill set more naturally fits a classic Z WR, bubble screens don't , he doesn't have a lot of wiggle he's a straight line deep guy who can take the top off yet fans And the coaches for some reason think or expect him to be deebo.

That's not his game never has been never will be

Coaches and fans need to stop square pegging him.

Not trying to trash smiths size just point nting out he's not the most effective blocker, not for lack of effort just lack of size limits his effectiveness in that capacity

Smith is a beast I've seen that dude bounce off tackles of guys that outweigh him by 30 pounds, Smith is the exception not the rule, Watkins isn't Smith or deebo stop expecting him to be.

If you told me Quez was deep on a 40 yard post and jogged through his route then half heartedly attempted a catch that hit him in the hands that he dropped then I'd be like what a bum.

We're talking about a Play though where he didn't read his blocks and tried to use his speed to get to the outside like most speed guys do for cause to drag him not only for that play but also for a play where he was wide open and hurts didn't throw him the ball 🤷‍♂️

So if the San Fran Wins, Eagles 2 game lead in the NFC EAST. If the San Fran Loses.  Eagles take sole position for the #1 Seed and are the last undefeated team.   Sounds like a Win/Win tonight.  If they Tie, even better.

It wasn’t the block that was the problem. It was Quez being too scared to simply run upfield. Frankly if this guy is too scared to run upfield with the ball is there any wonder why Jalen wouldn’t throw it to him when he was wide open? Knowing him it probably would have bounced off his hands and turned into an INT with a touchback and the Quez defenders would rip Jalen for throwing the ball too hard for Twinkle Toes to catch it.

It’s not square pegging him. Any average, competent slot WR can be a fair replacement, but since he hasn’t used his gift(s) enough to show he can consistently extend the field for our top guys or show he’s formidable in his own right when it counts …..he’s simply an over rated decoy

Biggest concerns for me is the red zone offense/play calling and maybe the corners need an upgrade next season.

Was Bradley Robie a factor in the second half?  It appears he was playing the slot and had at least one good play.

He should have just went up field. He tried to take that to the outside and avoid the bigger bodies in the middle and upfield. Even the first screen he caught felt like he went down really easy. Can’t recall a play he fought for yards.

I have no idea what you think you saw on the first screen. I agree that on the 2nd screen he didn't read the blocks correctly. I'm not convinced it would have made a difference as fast as that play all happened. Once again, I think people are searching for their favorite targets after a win. It's not the mountain you're looking for.

Quez should’ve been gone before this season imo. While it wasn’t a priority to replace him, I believe an upgrade at the slot wouldn’t have been a stretch. Zacheaus is OK and kinda of an improvement, but with the talent you have at 1 and 2, I realize how important a possession type like Avant would be. With our one and two. all you would’ve needed was a small ball competent slot receiver.

I was working and couldn't watch... Sounds like baby arms Quez had another spectacular game...

Don’t like him Ute. Just simply don’t like him as a 3rd when we just need a possession receiver in the slot. Our big two can make their own way with a savvy outlet receiver

The big deal today is that he gained no yards on a screen play with two blockers and 6 defenders.

Then it sounds to me like he found another way to be completely useless to this offense

I posted a video of his game above.

Dallas looks awful. This looks like two team race in the NFC.

Dallas has no problem with us unfortunately, but they do struggle with consistency, especially against inferior opponents. They’ll show up tonight and make a game of it, but if they play the Panthers next week, they’ll choke.

BS.

2 defenders, 2 blockers, no one preventing him from the first but himself. 1 defender trailing, and one coming into range after he decides to go lateral over vertical. You posted the video and still get it wrong?

Right, so you're defending your position by making things up that never happened and saying they would probably happen with our any evidence to suggest those would happen other than quez didnt hit the seem on a bubble = drops wide open passes in the end zone.😒
