I blame both. Need a change in approach to the sort of defensive coaches we look for. Both are far too conservative, yet still let opposing O's convert 3rd and longs at will.

So the offense is allowed to hit a defender in the head with their helmet like the shot that took Blankenship out?

After last week they said they needed to run the ball more and they came out and did what they always do.  Abandoned the run!  8 run plays in 2 qtr by our RBs. 

If we win I'll eat a green crayon......otherwise I'm coming down on this coaching big time. I think we have the talent. They're just not being coached/used effectively. I so hope I have to make the video of me eating a green crayon!

They probably beat him in tic tack toe and got the job. BJ being a family friend definitely played a part in that hire. But he hasn't been nearly as bad as our last place D.

Honestly how much is this is the coaches compared to Eagles philosophy? I mean these dudes have been playing this send 4 crap even before Schwartz.

That said he does need to react to the DC and OC in the offseason. He got those hires very wrong.
