Brown University agrees to hold Israel divestment vote after pressure from student protesters

So this University has caved into the demands of a few a hundred protestors while the rest of the student body not involved sees that the Board will not protect their safety. Sad day. Anti Semites.

It seems to me these university protests have gone up another level. The agitators who are not students at the school have come in and taken over. Student protesters don't want violence, they don't want to see their school damaged. They want peaceful action. Now it's too late. This is what happened during the Freddie Gray riots in Baltimore. What started as locals protesting on street corners turned into violence when outsiders came in, swelled the number of protesters, and they all got whipped up into a frenzy that turned into violence. It happens over and over again when protests make big news.

There are no agitators who are not students involved, at worst some of the students they expelled previously are in the camp, you've got the NYPD holding up common bike locks saying 'this shows there are outside agitators involved', it's horseshit, but it riles up the easily provoked and the people who had arrived at their views already.

What is it with Darkstar and sieges? Some kids stage a cafeteria sit in "They should siege their asses, it worked at Vicksburg and throughout history" Jesus christ dude, go outside and touch some grass.

This sort of protest never happened before Tik Tok, the famous Tik Tok Vietnam and South African apartheid protests (or was it Vine back then?).

LAPD used rubber bullets this morning, how long before some asshat governor finally calls in the national guard and starts a good old Kent State style Campus shootout? That'll teach the little **** about having opinions on stuff and holding peaceful protests.
