Link? 😂 If it were MLB I might argue with you; Davey Lopes used to get voted to the All-Star Game by the fans even if he was batting under .200

Leonard weaver was all pro in 2009.

July 19, 20205 yr Rodney Peete has to be in the mix for top 3. Foles is the obvious choice. Another player I’ll throw out there is Trey Burton.

I was just watching highlights from the 4th and 1 game. My goodness Pete was horrible in that one. His best game as an Eagles was that Detroit playoff game.

These are players that took over a few times for the starter and ended up having a lot of success. Some of these players might have become starters for the team for a short time. So what are your favorite backup players for the Philadelphia Eagles since you've been a fan? Watching that video I forgot about Brian Braman. There used to be stories about that dude in training camp and in practice about him being completely unblock able (According to Ike Reese) but they rarely used him in games, but he was on heck of a special teams player.

July 22, 20205 yr One guy I don't think was mentioned yet who deserves a nod is Mike Golic. He was typically the #3 DT in the rotation, with Jerome Brown and Mike Pitts starting.
