Please let this be his last year. Changing of the guard please.

I think if it's Glenn, he would likely sign a team friendly deal, as he's been on the street since March, and would need to get up to speed with the Eagles scheme I don't know what he was making  before, but he's not on a roster, and as a backup  shouldn't expect to get paid big..

And JP has already removed himself from the game to catch his breath.

And help up the opposing DE who cheap shot the franchise QB

Happy this has happened. I am not worried about Pryor at RG. It actually makes me glad. He did a great job last year when called upon. Yes he was lit up by our guys in practice playing LT, but tackle is a lot harder to learn/play than G.

he will again be in the top 5 LT in the NFL.

I do hope they are able to sign him ... they definitely need someone who can reliably fill in when (not if) JP is taken out of a game because of one minor injury or another.  I'd love to believe that Mailata is finally ready to handle that role, but something tells me the coaches don't fully trust him yet (if that is the case and he isn't ready to start contributing after 3 years of being coached up, they need to move on from this experiment).  After Mailata there is no one else on the roster currently that makes sense at LT.  Unless they have someone else in their sights and are just waiting until after week 1 when salaries won't be fully guaranteed.

Peters is done. Demanded more money and he's getting owned out there.

Can’t believe people sided with him in this

Yup. Downright awful.

I can honestly say I've been against it the entire time

Well every team could have signed him but no one did. I would start Driscol at LT. He cannot be possibly be any worse than JP today. I have been a huge fan of his but father time is undefeated

The worst resigning this year. I doubt that Peters is healthy enough to play guard. He is an open door at LT. He is done. I do not care what rookie off the waiver wire they plug in there, but it will be an improvement on JP.

LT?

JP's time has passed.

Dillard is a HUGE PAC-12 question mark and already trending towards bustville, USA.

What's left? Mailata, Driscoll, & street FA's. Not good.

Though to be honest I'd take any of those over JP. The dude looks like a guy who doesn't give a F about this team.

You'll get no argument from me. I don't know if he cares or not. I know he's lost his ability to play LT at an acceptable level.

He just looks beaten out there. Shoulders slumped, walking around after plays. The dude looks like he has no fight in him.

Well, that's the ageing process. Your mind says "Yeah, I can do it!" and your body says "F You! Forget it!"

That would explain why he's getting beaten sure. Doesn't explain why the dude looks flat out disinterested though.

Held them for ransom, refused to switch out for the betterment of the team. Then, only moved when he got paid. I know they drafted Jason's replacement and Dillard is injured. But, to allow 1 player to alter the balance of the line is always a bad idea. Just like bringing Jason back. A HOF career, that has steadily been eroded in the last 3 years.

emotional fans and Howie says "We want you back!" even though he should retire

Terrible mistake bringing JP back, he's obviously done.  They had the right idea moving on earlier in the offseason - when Brooks went down they should have just rolled with Pryor and/or Herbig there.  They could have signed Glenn to play LT when Dillard went down.  Just horrendous roster management by Howie.  Not sure who is doing the worst at performing their job duties these days ... Howie, Doug, or Carson.  All 3 are completely crapping the bed.

Right they can still sign Cordy Glenn,  whats the injury status on JP anyway??????

Injury status is TBD.

What is determined is his goose is cooked!  He was getting beat left and right yesterday long before the injury forced him out of the game.
