Remember when everyone complained that Joe Banner barely ever signed a player older than 30? He may have been on to something.

    Banner and AR were ahead of their time, to the point that it was to their detriment.

    No one over 30, pass only offenses, fastball DL focused exclusively on disrupting the passing game.

    Now we’ve got an ancient roster, plodding 12 personnel weapons, and a run stopping DL and defensive scheme.

    A lot of fans clamored for JP and criticized anyone who said he was done.
