I don't care who is coaching. If you're a player, you play with maximum effort on every play. The team will still lose due to poor coaching decisions but at least we'll see who deserves to be back on the roster , in meetings and in practice, and who should be running up a mountain side every day, and I mean every day until they straighten out or quit.
