What we learned today is that the moving party has no evidence to prove that the DA financially benefited from her relationship. The DA and her ex boyfriend both stated that he was reimbursed in cash. There was no evidence or testimony to contradict that.

Why, It may be improper, but it certainly isn't enough under the Law to have her removed. The moving party has not been about to provide any evidence she financially benefited or any evidence to contradict the DA.

Regardless of what happened or didn't happen - the case in Georgia does not have a sound basis in law.  And the prosecutor has been shown to be corrupt and a liar.

At the end of the day, her legal theory of using RICO to pursue an election related case is flawed.  And she's been shown to be corrupt to boot.

Regardless of any animus against any defendant (and in criminal court, there are very shady characters - murderers, rapists and the like), the prosecutor must be above board and honest in the legal proceedings.

have any of the legal proceedings around this case been shown to be dishonest? 

or have we just determined that the DA and this lawyer were banging? in what way does their personal relationship, however improper, change the merits of the case against Trump?
