The dumbsheet Owner can't see that the root cause of the problem is the dumbsheet GM, until he removes that dumbsheet GM from that position he'll continue to be a dumbsheet Owner. These dumbsheets think: You can win in the NFL with "chunk plays" all game long, The LB position is not important, The RB position is not important, The defensive backs are not important. All together now, E - A - G- L -E - S........DUMB SHEETS!!!!
January 23, 20241 yr Pretty much. For 5 years Howie has been trying to get as lucky as he did with the post June vet signings and has mostly struck out.
January 23, 20241 yr I think Howie is a genius in so many ways. The one thing I think a coach should be able to do though is select the type of players he wants. It shouldn't be left up to Howie or Lurie whether or not we have capable LB's. In all fairness though, the dynamics of the league keep shifting. The league is encouraging a passing league, and as teams put more emphasis on secondary and defending the pass, other teams put more emphasis on running the ball. I for one would like to see a near 50/50 playcalling on offense with success, and being able to defend either on the defensive side of the ball.

Unfortunately the topic is no longer available, maybe the FO contacted this website's owners and threatened to take away using their logo unless the post is removed, seems like Lurie also controls the mods of this site.
