I finally got around to finishing season 2.  It was a struggle.  It was hard to watch and pay attention to. They really try to hard with the dialect and ancient word salad.  And the accents make it that much harder to grasp what they’re saying half the time.  The middle episodes were the worst but the last few saved the season.

Really?  I thought the last episode was a complete dud.  For a season finale, it was awful

In general for a season finale it was mid as my teenager would say but in relation to the full season the last 2 were the better of it all.  It was interesting to see how the Targaryen **** claimed their dragons and the build up of getting to the point where Rhaenrya finally has what she needs to go to all out war.  
 

alot of cool Easter eggs in some of the visions Daemon has.  And we finally get the winter is coming line.  
 

having not read a single line of any of the books I don’t know all the little intricacies so when they tie into the OG series I find that rewarding.

Seriously it feels like I’m watching nick Siriani in a post battle press conference tell me about how his dragons won. Taking for 13 minutes about how some dragons are big and some are small and some have longer tails and how that helps their aerodynamics and some are fed goats while some like to eat people.  Just shut up.  "They burned crap down.”  That’s all I need to hear 😆

The Knight of Seven Kingdoms got delayed didn't? But there is some excitement out there that it will be good.

Looks good. I haven't read the books, but everyone says how great they are, so I hope it translates to TV.
