April 27, 20241 yr Kicked myself for not putting DeJean on yesterday. Kicking myself for not having Shipley on today. Those were to of "my guys" and I didnt put them in here. I got 2 today with Smith and Wilson. Shoulda coulda had 3.

I think it’s a multiple tie.. a couple people got 3 picks today very impressive and a number of us with two. im pretty sure I would have added Shipley to my list if I had enough time this morning to sit down and look things over and complete my list of 15 but sadly work and my overtime got in the way lol.
April 28, 20241 yr Author Unless my math is wrong CouchKing and Cheesesteakitis are co-winners if i xould re-write the rules I’d add tie breaker is who picked the most right without bonuses but I didn’t say that so we have co-winners Eric Allen, Conn Eagle, HE, and Manchester all tie for 2nd. 5 points is pretty great
April 28, 20241 yr I think Eric Allen is co winner too they had 4 points with me and got Johnny Wilson and Trotter correct also. very impressive by couchking getting 3 correct on day 3!
April 28, 20241 yr Wow! Congrats to everyone. That was some good clean fun. Thanks for all the hard work running the game. We all would have gotten more points if Howie would just make the picks. Trade down. Trade down again. C'mon, Howie!!
April 28, 20241 yr Congrats guys. For another year I will remain the master of the draft only in my own imagination.

I think Wingo was certainly their pick and Detroit traded a pick in front of them. Not sure about any others.... but fairly early on a lot of my names were off the board. I front loaded it a bit considering they had a bunch of 4th rounders. And I went with later RB names, hence why I put Laube on there instead of Shipley. I was really close to having those two as well. It also appeared that McCormick may have been sniped in a trade in front of them too. It could have been a yuge day for me. Coulda/shoulda. Next year may be my year!

The multiple trade down to me always means they don’t know what to do. Maybe I’m just traded from all those terrible late Andy Reid drafts I think I’d have been happier if they would have taken one of those 3rd round interior linemen that were still available. That being said I wouldn’t be surprised if that Michigan guy starts at RG

That being said I wouldn’t be surprised if that Michigan guy starts at RG I think Hennessy is a very legitimate starter. If Steen isnt up to snuff, i guess hes getting the early nod due to being a draft pick. but Hennessy can easily take that from him. I think the Michigan guy is excellent depth, for now. Id probably prefer Hennessy starting too, and Steen as a backup OT (since we didnt draft one). He wont be a worse OT than Dricsoll was.

I blew it on day 3. I had a few of those guys, but didn’t put them on my list. Ah well. Congrats to the winners, this was fun!

I've seen plenty of sites/services ranking Mitchell over Arnold and vice versa but these two guys were the consensus top 2 Funny how the ratings change. I was at Barnes and Noble yesterday reading NFL magazine, I guess a month old before the draft, and they had Kool Aid rated as #1 and Mitchell as #5..Arnold was #2. LOL.
