Not a lot to choose from for #57.

If you look below, the guy behind Randy Logan (#41) wearing #57 is future HOF Head Coach Bill Cowher.

Byron Evans.  Fourth round pick in 1987.  Led the league in tackles in 1989.  The quarterback of Buddy's defense.

Jerry Robinson should have been better than he was. He was pretty good but he could have been great. Very talented guy. Hated the fact that he was so overjoyed about being traded to a West coast team. I never forgave him for his exit attitude. Dude, you could have at least pretended that you enjoyed playing here.

Frank LeMaster.  My favorite player from the SB XV era.

Fourth round pick in 1974.  Went to the Pro Bowl in 1981.

Was the blocking back on the punt team and was used on fakes.  Ended up with 101 yards rushing in his career.

LeMaster was good. Liked him a lot. We really had good linebackers in those days.

Alex Wojciechowicz. First round pick by the Lions in 1938.  Was All-Pro twice with the Lions and built a Hall of Fame career as a Center/Linebacker in Detroit.

Was released by the Lions in 1946.  Finished his career with the Eagles, playing mostly as a Linebacker (some dude named Bednarik was the starting Center).

Member of the 1948 and 1949 championship teams.

And a shout out to Dennis Franks.  Key supporting role in the Vince Papale story.

I was planning on making a "...and not Dennis Franks?" joke when you chose another name for 53. Kudos.

Is that Stewart Bradley up there wearing #55? He could have been a contender, I liked watching that guy play

David Lloyd.

A decent linebacker on the horrible teams of the sixties.  Went to the Pro Bowl in 1969.

I would have preferred a Super Bowl 52 logo there.

Reggie Wilkes.

Third round pick in 1978 out of Georgia Tech.  Played 8 seasons with the Eagles, including SB XV.

Went on to become successful in wealth management for high-net-worth athletes.

One last linebacker...

William Thomas.  Fourth-round pick in 1991 out of Texas A&M.

  • Second-team All-Pro (1995)
  • 2× Pro Bowl (1995, 1996)

For what it’s worth, Reggie Wilkes was a favorite of Howard Cosell. It was weird how Howard was always praising him.
