A story of why Tim Walz has no future in the Dem party in two panels.

bafkreiargiljzqmm5a3ig7xvwaada2efg7cnrahwkzlpalvq256bb2uhva.webp

Tim's state agencies work with the feds to weed out fraud. Hooray! Less fraud! Tim gives the feds their due. After all, they're law enforcement, they must be concerned with stopping law breakers. Doesn't make it political because that would be mean. Doesn't mention how the feds are obviously singling out states they don't like and doing nothing about fraud in sheetholes like Mississippi or, obviously, in the White House, where the real fraud is going down. Instead he's cordial. He thinks this is how good government works because, I don't know, he's either a F'ing idiot or he's deluded himself to think that the feds will reciprocate this kind of "good governance" despite the fact that they never, ever do under this admin. So how do the feds handle this kind of good faith show of bipartisan government?

lol They take a sheet on his face. Because they aren't concerned about good governance, they only want political points. They could give a F what the results might be, they just want to squeeze what they can out of the situation and hurt their opponent when they can.

In short, Tim Walz is a F'ing idiot who, thankfully, is about to be out of politics and has no future in the Dem party, because clearly he hasn't learned the only lesson that matters to Dems in 2026. Never give these fascists a F'ing inch. Tell them to F off from the start and point out what failures they are. There's never, ever a reason to work with them or give them their due. Attack them 100% of the time and hurt them every chance you get. The Dem candidate that learns that and applies it the most successfully will be the last one standing. Good riddance, Tim.

Just the Democrats threatening to execute Republicans and our soldiers.

At least he didn’t use seashells

Damn, Moulton's based as F.

Guess he joins Maher and Fetterman as MAGA

You don’t know any Democrats do you? Every Dem hates our leadership right now.

Jon’s great. Honestly he should run for something. Maher’s a bitter old dude who wants kids off his lawn. And Fetterman’s a brain damaged grifter who’s biding his time until he’s kicked to the curb.

I know plenty of normal ones. Just not on this site.

You know a lot of "Democrats" who what, think this president is not that bad?

You’re not really making any sense here. The Dems you know love Chuck Schumer and are seething mad at Jon Stewart? Are they in the room with you now?

Varies. Who hate him, who like the border stuff, who like Fetterman, who are radical and have TDS as bad as many of you.

You suggested I don't know any Dems. I do. The ones on this site just aren't normal is what I was saying.

Let's not say things we can't take back, Liehard would never lie to us.

WTF are you rambling about. I know all levels. You don't grow up in the Philly area without knowing Democrats.

I mean, the majority of Dems don't like the Dem party at this point. Nothing special about that. Jon has had several takes that were inline with MAGA. He pretty much aligned with MAGA on some COVID topics (e.g. lab leak) for example. However, he is FAR from a Fetterman. Jon does not pander to Trump or the MAGA line. Fetterman does just that.

Then they shouldn’t be committing war crimes. I am against capital punishment, but putting Pete "Whisky Leaks” Kegseth in jail for a long time would be a good thing.

The problem isn't the "Democrats" on this board.

It's the reflexive stance that criticism of the worst president of all time is somehow "TDS".

No. Looking at this president and thinking "I think he's doing the right things" is where you demonstrate lunacy.

Approval ratings are in the toilet. He's leading the party off the cliff in November.

The crazy is all on your side of the table.

He knows many Chuck Schumer fans. They're real people.

Walz is stuck. This is the result of years of fraud investigations. Minnesota cooperated with Feds during Trump and Biden administrations. Unfortunate for Walz, we now have a Trump administration that is less interested in corruption (unless it is happening in Dem states) and more about scoring political brownie points, especially at the Patel level. They aren't running departments as much as they are abusing government agencies to prop up dear leader.

Except he's not stuck. Like you said, the admin is just playing political games, so Walz should just be playing political games. Hold a daily press conference to talk about fraud in different red states. Threaten to send the MN state police into Mississippi to deal with their out of control fraud problem. Does that even make sense? No, but who gives a F. He should also be withholding taxes from state employees and not sending the money to the feds. Dems don't actually have to fight on the Reps terms, they just think they do.

And the last thing he should ever do is thank the feds for working with them on stopping fraud. He should have said the feds refused to help or that the feds they sent in committed fraud themselves, but that MN stopped the fraud anyway. Walz will be out of politics soon so it doesn't really matter and maybe he just decided he doesn't care anymore and he'd rather get dunked on publicly than play dirty, but at minimum I hope it serves as a lesson to other Dems to never, ever work with Republicans because they're bad actors even when it comes to important sheet like stopping criminals.

I think you are wrong. You are asking to Walz to behave the same as Republicans, to use government as a cudgel for political favors, and to turn a blind eye to corruption if they show any support towards your party. Forget that. I think there are citizens smart enough to know when their leaders are being sincere. Walz did the right thing rooting out corruption in his state. The investigation started long before Patel was nominated. Walz is a public servant. If that makes him a bad politician then I want more bad politicians in office.
