Goedert is around the same age as Ertz when he was traded. I believe he has a year left on his deal after this season. Goedert has missed quite a few games over the past few seasons. Might be time to find his replacement

Dude is 6'5 245 and extremely athletic. Can block and catch

It's an obvious vulnerability - especially when Goedert isn't in the lineup.

Yes, another good reason to address A.S.A.P.

The top-rated TE in this draft.

The position needs to be addressed.

Hail! Hail!

Seems to be the early consensus top choice...might go early.

I don't see the Eagles drafting a TE in the first.  The 2nd round sure.  First you might as well pencil in a DE

They should go DE in the 1st and 2nd. Should be a good class as far as DE goes

Either Loveland or Luke Lachey from Iowa needs to be on our radar next April

They will need to be targeted late day 1 or early day 2 (at present).

Loveland went 8 / 70 yds but did have one fumble against Texas... but no one looked good today against Texas

If he drops to 2nd which often happens by the time the draft comes around then definitely a target

Spoiler

Loveland - 7 rec, 83 yards today against Illinois.

2024 season so far - 29 rec, 261 yds, 2 TDs.

Michigan is looking really rough this year.

FWIW,

Warren seems to have eclipsed Loveland in most recent mocks.

Admittedly these are mostly amatuer attempts to predict, although even the professionals admit it's a crapshoot.

Anyhow, the sentiment is leaning towards Warren going to the Broncos around pick #22 and Loveland going to the Chargers due to the Michigan connection.

It's rare that a tight end goes in the first 10 picks, but not uncommon to be selected before the second round.

There are a handfull of prospects that will be selected on day 2, but these 2 will probably go early.

Just my opinion.

I like Grant as the heir apparent.

Honestly don’t know much about the player just don’t really see him being the pick.

It's probably a long shot but finding Goedert's replacement is coming very soon. Go watch tape. By far the best player on Michigan's offense. Or ask @DaEagles4Life
