He was also awful because he was a royal d-bag, and he believed his system was more important than the talent.

I know some people here thought it was a good idea but a lot of others said that he was retiring and wouldn’t even consider it so surprising to see him get hired.

Anybody old enough may remember a show called something like Jurgensen to McDonald that was on during the week on a local Philly station. Those two would talk football and play tapes. One of the early player type shows.
