Tampa is getting pummeled at the moment by Hurricane Helene.  It's only Thurs. and the game is not until Sunday, but there's a chance this game gets moved to a neutral site.

I already had sat and sun night booked there but cancelled because we didn’t want to deal with the hassle of changing hotels. We have Halloween Horror Night tickets for Sunday, so we’re already going to be fighting for a quick exit and (hopefully smooth departure, and last thing we’ll want to do arriving in Orlando is dealing with check in and luggage. Easier to have the room already squared away.

Even though Helene is gone, they're still calling for 80% chance of precipitation, 88 degrees and humid.  I haven't heard anything about the field condition.

And they get blown out again. Always bet the over when Philly is involved. Their d is good for 30+ just about every game.

Injuries are by biggest concern over this game. We are probably missing Smitty, AJ, Covey, the right side of the line (although given how the backups played Sunday I´m less worried about that)... and that´s just on offense. If I´m the Bucs DC I sell out to stop the run and dare Hurts to beat them through the air passing to Goedert and whoever are the next men up at receiver.  

Note to Sirianni: Take the Fing points when they are on offer this time. If our defense can keep it close there´s enough magic available in Barkley and Hurts to win. If it´s high scoring, I think we lose pretty handily.

So last night not really a surprise in how it turned out. Mayfield played really well, first half especially (defense issues not withstanding). Bucs stacked the box to limit the run game, and it worked well for them, even if Barkley did gash them for his customary minimum one big run a game. If ever a team needed a bye week, it´s these Eagles.

Bucs knew what to do. As you say stop the run (something they’ve been poor at this year) and force Hurts to pass the ball. They knew without AJ and Smitty he wouldn’t be able to beat them. They knew without Lane eventually the pass rush would get home.

That’s a pretty damning indictment of the QB and the scheme I think.
