Nabbed a Bookers 21-03 today

I really wish I could see why people pay for Johnny Walker Blue. It just isn't that good. Ridiculously priced for a no age statement whiskey. Every time I am offered, I try to taste something special, but I don't.

It is a pedestrian whiskey.

Wolfburn is a new(ish) distillery worth trying for scotch fans. i like the peated one.

Nikka from the barrel is a very nice dessert whiskey. prob my favorite from them.

killed a few bottles at poker. 291 Rye, Starlight honey barrel store pick and a Casa Noble Anejo. my guts hate me...

breaking open a bottle of Rare Breed for the weekend. Seems fitting for the occasion. Found a C921 that will get popped as well.

Popped an EHT small batch for thanksgiving. Pour something good yall.

Decided to sample through my makers marks tonight. The 101 is probably my favorite, might have to grab another one this year. 

Im not much of a makers guy but be curious to try  the FAE02

Makers store picks are pretty good, the neck is a little oaky but the baking spice takes over as they open up

About 2 years. Last year I got a deck of poker cards with cool designs & some of them have drink recipes on them.

Went back on the website and saw that PA only got 12 bottles for the whole state. Figures the only time I win something with that small odds I end up winning the chance to spend $100
