love eht small batch. next time i see one at a pa store im buying it.

lately ive been craving a "normal" bourbon. i have 28 bottles right now, but the closest thing i have to a normal bottle is jim beam old tub. i need something like knob creek, woodford, four roses small batch, eligah craig, something like that in the $30ish range thats readily available. problem is, i want all of them  someone make up my mind for me.

Coopers Craft Barrel Reserve is really good for $30

i like coopers. just looking for something from one of the "bigger" distilleries. that way im ok with finishing the bottle instead of hanging on to the bottom third like i do with all my other bottles.

four roses is probably my favorite of the bunch. i love knob creek though. i think its got a ton of big flavors when you get into it. its really between those 2 i think. buffalo trace is hard to get around here, and i just dont think it holds up to those 2

Turns out we got two 6pk cases of Stagg JR on Monday when I was off and I didn't find out until today because we got a dozen calls from people asking if we had it.  Someone who was on our Blanton's list and picked up their bottle also bought one of the Stagg and posted it on FB, which my owners don't like when customers do that.  Brings out all the cherry pickers.

Crotch shots yup…

flippers on hyperdrive out here right now

Love this under $40 bottle.Powers Gold Label (RND) Whisky online | LICOREA

Scored a Remus Repeal Reserve V on the way home. Had to do a double take, was just sitting on the shelf. Most expensive bottle I’ve purchased this year, will probably be my New Years/Anniversary pour since both are coming up.

Randomly picked up a bottle of Blantons that got set on a display barrel while I happened to be standing right next to it. Was the only one they put out today and there were like 4 dudes who saw it get set down and were closing in. Paid regular price ($59), last one I saw in the wild was 129, I hope that bottle gets accidentally dropped.

We get a 6pk case delivered every month around the middle of each month, along with a 6pk of Eagle Rare.  We have a wait list for Blanton's that I think goes into at least April and just work off the list so the next 6 customers who requested a bottle are on the clock.  I think we're now at $69/bottle.  Other stores near us will put a bottle or two out on the shelf at a time, but charge more for it.

missed out on the deliveries yesterday. total wine had a case of MWND...

Into some extended time off and opening a few bottles I’ve picked up lately. Sipping some FAE-02, mouthfeel on this is really creamy, and the first pour on this is way smoother than what I usually get from a Makers store pick or 46 Cask Strength.

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!
