January 23, 20223 yr The more i drink the ecbp c21 the better i think it is. 120 proof and drinkable neat
January 23, 20223 yr Got to try this on Friday at a local bar. $20 for a pour. Was worth it. 125 proof and very easily drinkable neat. I liked it more than the 17year eagle rare I got the other month.
February 1, 20223 yr Any opinions on Rittenhouse? Came across it the other day just wanting to try something new. It's ok on its own, but it seems pretty nice as a mixer. The 100 proof is well-concealed, and the layering is there, even if it's not real defined. It's not really heavy on the rye spice, moreso sweet and fruit-forward. I think it's a fine mid-shelf pick, though.

February 4, 20223 yr Rittenhouse is probably the best heaven hill product. Perfect everyday rye to make cocktails
February 20, 20223 yr Been loving the BT store picks of late the distillery out here to watch is Starlight. They are making some really interesting stuff.
February 20, 20223 yr Author I just checked the Starlight site and they have a mix of liquors in addition to Bourbon/Whiskey. Brandies, Rum, Gin, and Vodka as well. They're also part of an orchard/vineyard and winery, Huber. Might point them out to my one sales rep and see if her smaller company might be interested in them.
