Does it matter? There will very probably be a shite ton of Iranian blood spilled because of this, a lot of it will be Iranian on Iranian bloodshed but the cause is still the US-Israel attack.

At the end of the day that bloodshed is on US hands and it will be measured against whatever benefits are in the end result.

No it's on their hands for being the largest state sponsor of terror who killed thousands of their own citizens for protesting a few weeks ago.

Partially because Trump left them hanging when they thought he would intervene. Now he has, but at the end of the day the bloodshed has to be worth the outcome.

Eyes up here buddy. You're claiming Iran was going to attack the US. I doubt that's going to be a thing in the coming days.

Either way it’s the fault of the madmen that started this war but there’s no reason to believe it wasn’t a us or Israeli missile. Diehards posting random tweets but as far as any actual reporting goes, it came from outside the country.

2014: Trump says Obama will invade Iran because he's not a good enough negotiator to get a deal with them

2015: Obama, with the backing of the EU, China, Russia and others, gets a deal with them

2018: Trump cancels deal bc it was Obama's and says he can negotiate a better one.

2018-2020: Trump can't negotiate one. Arms control experts and Trump officials start to grumble that scrapping Obama's deal was probably a bad idea.

2025: Trump still can't negotiate a new deal

2025: Israel launches an attack on Iran. Drags Trump in. Trump claims Iran's nuclear capacity was wiped out

2025-2026: Trump still can't negotiate a deal

2026: Trump launches a regime change war on Iran, at Israel's goading

I called all this sheet the second Trump tore up the deal. Once he did it, war was inevitable.

We said/they said in the fog of war is a fool's errand. What's concrete and quantifiable is the damage caused by Trump's unprovoked meddling v.s whatever actual gains geopolitically and for the people of Iran. That's what this action will be judged on. How the 80 kids died is irrelevant, they are dead because Trump is bombing Iran and they will appear on the final scoreboard to determine if this was worth it.

CBS News contributor Masih Alinejad, whose parents and siblings live in Iran, says the Iranians she's spoken to are overcome with joy that "their killers have finally been the target of the U.S. government and they see justice; but at the same time, they are worried, they're concerned that if this is not going to lead to regime change... if the American government, the Israeli government only target the military leaders, not the political leaders, then the people of Iran are going to be left alone."

Yep. Good times. Funny how Bush went to war to do what Trump helped do in a day.

Trump just launched a war to distract people from the Epstein files. Has nothing to do with Iran being a threat to our country.
