Speaking of Sandbridge though, back when I moved to this area in 1990, that beach was  maybe 15 minutes from where I lived and nobody other than locals really knew it was there. Tourists went to the Virginia Beach oceanfront, locals went to Sandbridge.

It’s still a nice little hidden spot. Comparing it to any Outer Banks location for example it’s certainly quieter. The main drag of VA Beach itself is no offense, kinda gross…Atlantic Ave anyway. But no, I can assure you it wasn’t just hemp. Lol. They straight up laughed when we asked if this was legal to sell yet. They even had a bouncer at the door.

I definitely don't take any offense, I'm not originally from Virginia (though I've now lived here longer than I've ever lived anywhere else). I don't even actually live in Virginia Beach. In fact, in the 31 years that I've lived in this area, I only lived in Virginia Beach for less than 2 years (late 1990 to early 1992).

Looking at that shop's website though, they sell Delta 8 products, which is derived from hemp. Delta 9 is derived from marijuana and that's the stuff that they can't sell until 2024.

I forget which law made it possible to sell the Delta 8 stuff, but some law was passed a few years ago and I think that it unintentionally made the hemp derived products legal... or maybe it was intentional but just wasn't publicly admitted to lol. 

If Delta 9 products were available at those shops, I'd go get some for my mother due to her appetite issues caused by her chemo. I wish we didn't have to wait for more than 2 years to go by to be able to get it... though I could get her a medical card to authorize her to get some, but even in that event, they didn't really have the edibles that I'd need to get for her. But I haven't checked their websites for a while. They might have it now. I got her some Delta 8 edibles, but they didn't really help her appetite much.

If the dispensaries sell RSO that's easy to make into edibles.  Hell you can eat it straight up.  It was originally made for cancer patients.

New coalition govt is forming in Germany now two months after Merkel's party lost the election.  One of the policies in their platform is immediate legalization of cannabis to be sold in special shops to adults only.  The overall platform now goes to each party in the coalition for fine tuning.  Germany legalizing would be HUGE in Europe and would be yet another key domino in the western world.

Germany is on the verge of full legalization.  Vacations are about to get much, much better.

Malta is the first EU country to actually legalize weed for personal use.  Up to seven grams is legal and it is also legal to have up to four plants.

Luxembourg and Germany are next.  Portugal has already decriminalized.  Netherlands looks the other way in the coffee shops and Denmark does the same in Christiania.

Gotta imagine all of new England will happen soon given the dispensaries are RIGHT over the state borders and there's zero law enforcement of people crossing back and forth. At this point states up here that haven't legalized are just losing money. 

PA will probably dig in their heels for no good reason per usual.

true, but why pay for the med card once jersey opens up ? pa wont care until rec sales start and they see the dramatic drop in tax revenue. 

of course then the states will get the bridge authorities to come down hard on drug cartel mules bringing such a destructive drug across state lines.
