Feel like he’s been an absolute stud for us this year and the only reason he hasn’t had more press is he hasn’t got an interception yet. (He’s dropped a couple and CGJ had a rare pass break up on a third…)

It’s great to have a young, instinctive physical corner with recovery speed. Love watching him play and if he can snag a couple of picks he has a great shot at DROY.

Yea, I think like 5 dropped ints lol

He looks like the real deal. His quickness to recover is amazing. The picks will come eventually, but he's already the best DB on the team IMHO.

If he could catch the ball he’d have four or five ints already. He’s been a steal so far.

I know a lot of people were worried when we picked him over Arnold, but so far it seems to have been the right choice.

I wanted Mitchell over Arnold since beginning. I liked Mitchell's potential and recovery speed.

Mitchell has been really good. He made a good start especially as a rookie but I think teams were understandably going after him with a little success. But these last 2-3 games he’s improved even more and he is rarely giving up plays.

The one minor thing is those INTs. He had had a few opportunities but so far he’s not come away with any of them. Hopefully in time that will come.

As the old saying goes, if they were good at catching they would be receivers

Playing very well, since day 1.

Eagles CBs 2025:

Quinton Mitchell

Kelee Ringo

Cooper DeJean

Isaiah Rodgers

Eli Ricks

I might buy his jersey... last one was  Brandon Boykin 🤣🤣🤣

The kid has borderline psychopath confidence.

Imagine talking crap to a future hall of famer as a damn rookie. Sign of a great CB.

I personally love this. He wasn’t being over the top, just giving it back. The fact that Evans had to resort to "Do you know who I am” means he won the trash talking.

I mean we all know Evans is a superstar but he’s talking trash there too! Telling Quinyon he’s easy to get open on? But then only having one catch against him at that point? Like shut up man.

You _need_ have that on your defense.   Swagger, confidence, trash talking goes a long way.

Is Bradberry planning on playing this year at all or nah?

Seems like since Cooper DeJawn entered the defense along with Mitchell, Fangio has been far more aggressive especially with the blitz. They keep putting pressure on offenses the turnovers will come.

Mitchell has had opportunities so you’ve got to feel he’s going to start coming away with some of them… But the lack of INTs from this team has been such a thing for so long now.

I guess I’m worried that if they start playing good quarterbacks, they will just go back into the shell stuff and get picked apart again. The Bucks took what the Eagles gave them and they got rid of the ball quickly all game. The corners need to be able to challenge receivers. The safeties can’t be in another time zone every play. If they can muster pressure on quarterbacks the turnovers will come. They also need to continue to play the run well. They had at least three opportunities against the Giants. A few against the Browns as well. At some point the ball will start bouncing their way as long as they stay aggressive on defense.

We are enjoying a good progress on defense, mainly because players have more confidence . They have learned the system and now they are getting into the groove. Very Happy for defense stepping up.

But our main issues are on offensive side. That is what we have to worry about. Hurts needs to make sure that he does not hold the ball or makes costly errors. He has so much talent around him. Just let the other players contribute.

Oh for sure mate! There’s no way we can regress back to the soft ass defense we saw the first few weeks. As you say that will get us killed because teams will just get rid of the football quickly and drive up and down the field on us.

The way to negate any pass rush is the quick pass game. But to do that you need the defense to play soft otherwise the options won’t be there. We’ve got Slay and Mitchell so Fangio needs to trust them.

For as much as we can say Hurts hasn’t turned the ball over lately we could also say the defense had been successful due to playing two subpar teams. I’m not ready to claim Jalen or this defense are corrected just yet.

We will see how things go when they start playing some real teams.
