December 9, 20241 yr Author It’s becoming ridiculous with Q. Think he was targeted twice with 1 completion for 5 yards. Should be all pro.

December 9, 20241 yr It´s very rare for rookies to make All-Pro at any position. In the last ten years, many of those who did so (wither first or second team) were returners, receivers or offensive linemen. NFL Rookies Who Made All-Pro Teams in the Last Decade | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors | Bleacher Report Charles Woodson apparently did so in 1998, but it´s exceedingly uncommon for a corner to make it. If Q does get in, he will be in very lofty company.

Ahmed Gardner did as well (this article was written before his rookie year) Zero interceptions might hurt him, but I’m not sure there are many corners in the NFL who QBs simply don’t throw at any more.

He’s literally been the definition of a shutdown corner. Giving nothing up. Limiting yards. Not being targeted. He’s locked down whatever side of the field he is on.

December 17, 20241 yr If Q had 3 INTs he’d be a lock for DROTY and the pro bowl and would probably make one of the all-pro teams.

Most of the media care a lot about stats and splash plays and highlights. He doesn’t have that stuff because he just does his job to the point that it never reaches that level.

He will struggle with the fan vote as he is not yet a famous name and doesn’t have the stats. i feel like the coaches and players know how good he is though. Pretty much all QBs now actively avoid him. He certainly deserves it.

Sauce Gardner was a rookie AP. He actually would have had an easy INT in one game if CJ didn't fly out of center field and run into him breaking up the potential INT.
December 21, 20241 yr I think in the Pittsburg game, he would have had one too..............but it was tip/batted at the line. He was breaking on the WR on the pass and you could see after it was batted, he was jumping up and down. Doesn't matter to me about the INT's...yes would be nice to see him get a couple but he just completely shuts down that side of the field and QB's aren't even attempting to throw over there. That tells me he is absolutely doing his job.
