49ers are a dumpster fire of injuries

Tampa lost both starting WRs

Detroit lost their best player and defender

Only teams that might be troublesome are Minnesota and maybe Washington? They already beat the Packers.

So if this is not THE year, when will it ever be?

It really is honestly.  Probably the only true threat would be Detroit, so if Philly can get out of their own way they have a chance to make a run.  With that said, we're only about halfway through the season and a lot can change.  Let's hope the defense (specifically the pass rush) continues to develop and the offense maintains a real sense of balance.

There’s nobody great on either side this year so I think a lot of teams will be looking at this and thinking they have a chance. I think if a team can get hot late in the year (like the Packers did last year) then they have a real opportunity.

The Chiefs look the best right now and it’s hard to look beyond them for the SB. They haven’t played great so far on offense but you know they can get it together and their defense always gives them a chance.

I look at our team and I think we have every chance because we have the talent. But we’ve been saying that for a while now and we don’t seem to be getting it together.

Lets not get carried away.

Theres a number of teams that would beat us in a playoff game.

I don't have much confidence in the team to complete against a proper offence or defence for that matter.

If we can build on the last 2 performances and get better on offence we've a good chance of making the play offs, but past that i can't see much progress.

Yeah, it does feel like everyone else is playing to come second to the Chiefs.

(Number of errr, crucial flags they get is laughable 😄)

Just what we need. A season of mediocre teams so the Eagles can sneak into the playoffs and we keep Siri.

Lions, Vikings and Redskins are all in a tier above the Eagles.

Doubt Sirianni is back without getting at least a win in the playoffs.

Oh it’s crazy for sure! It’s to the point where you have to feel like this is what the NFL wants.

NFC has been pretty open for years now

So is your mom

Once those injuries proned teams get healthy, they will destroy the Eagles in a playoff game. :chair:

It's the Chiefs right now as the top team,  all others are playing for 2nd place and a SB loss.

I think the Eagles could beat any of those teams, maybe with exception of the Lions.

I also think the Eagles could lose to any of those teams.

I'm taking it 1 week at a time. But this early in the year, both AFC and NFC are wide open. November/December is when teams start to show who's who

Detroit is the best team in the NFC and I don’t think anyone is really that close.

Lions & Vikings I think so. Washington, while they certainly look better than they have the past few years needs to show up against better teams. November 10 Steelers at home  and November 14th at Philly should give a better idea where Washington really is. They did give Baltimore a game though and Baltimore may be #2 behind the Chiefs.

IF Eagles offense played to their potential then I'd disagree

Agreed. Outside of Seattle and the 49ers for a few years the NFC hasn't been all that relevant the last 15+ years. Patriots dominated and then Brady went to the Bucs and made it through the NFC easy. And now KC and Mahomes. AFC has some strong teams. I can't say the same for the NFC. Just look at the NFC East when no team has won consecutive division titles in something like 20 years. No consistency from the NFC. At least we know the Cowboys will be consistently mediocre.

Way to early to crown Washington with a rookie QB. Funny enough, their season this year reminds me of RG3's rookie season. Similar style QB as well.

He’s also potentially going to miss a game or two right? Rib / oblique injuries for QBs is no joke.

That said he’s looked great and their team has been impressive but yeah too soon to crown them. Though I do think with their schedule if Daniels only misses a couple of games they will win the East.

They qonbthe division that year too.

So is the the delusion fans are isomg because the beat up on the giants. Did everyone not see how bad the offense is. Barkley is literally keep this team obove water

The eagles aren’t even close to being in the top 5 of the nfc so I’m not sure what the heck your talking about

I agree with this even without Hutchinson.  They have by far the best offense and a decent defense.  Sure wish Brian Branch was in an Eagles uniform.  He will be an all-pro this year.  Passed him up to take Nolan Smith.

QB1 is playing like ass
