Posted December 4, 20241 yr Before we get carried away, I don't think the Eagles will lose this game. However from a wagering perspective, this one may be problematic. The Panthers are playing better than their record indicates and Bryce Young is starting to show a pulse. Moreover, this game is wedged between the showdown with Baltimore and a visit from cross state rival Pittsburgh. With all that in mind, 12.5 is a lot of cheese.

December 4, 20241 yr Carolina is 32nd against the run. 2,002 rushing yards against them so far. By comparison, Eagles have 1,257 rushing yards against (7th in the league). This is not going to be fun for the Panthers.

Whenever the obvious should happen, the opposite does happen.

December 6, 20241 yr Now that Detroit won and we need to win every remaining game i dont think this is a trap game anymore.
December 6, 20241 yr it's a trap game for sure and this just cemented it https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/42817197/bettor-backs-eagles-31-million-wager-beat-panthers
December 6, 20241 yr I don't think this Eagles team - especially on defense - would fall into such a trap. They take things one game at a time and will be aggressive and focused.

December 8, 20241 yr Panthers have been playing good teams close these past couple of weeks at home. I do think that the young QB will have trouble figuring out Fangio's defense.
December 8, 20241 yr Author Line closed at Eagles -14. Moneyline was Eagles -700. Not only did Circa Sports take that $3.1 million dollar play on the Eagles money line, and the Eagles are the top ML bet of the week. Gulp.

He needs to get the passing part of his game figured out and quick if we don't want to experience another early exit. The defense is there. The running game is there. But need to have that passing game at a higher level than it has been when we get to the playoffs.

Jalen needs to fix things quickly otherwise things could get ugly with this team. We saw last year that fractions became clear and this team was not getting along. Yesterday felt like 2023 again and they need to quickly sort that out before it becomes an issue. That whole game had 2023 vibes with the offense in a rut and not having fun.

If it was like this all year, I'd be more worried. Hate to bring it up, but last year we all saw what was happening all year.
