The passing game hasn't been up to where we'd like it for a while this season but we've also not had to have it firing on all cylinders ... we're winning in spite of the passing game because we are relying so heavily on the running game.  And it is not like the passing game has always been this bad ... Hurts/Brown/Smitty have shown plenty of time before that they can be lethal through the air.  It would just ease some concerns to show they can still function at that high of a level again before the playoffs start because if we get into a shooting match like that Rams Bills game last night, we for sure are going to need a strong passing game. They have a month to get that part of the game sorted out and I think they will.

That's my point though... Saquon killing it the way he is, is taking away from the passing game, well the need to rely on the pass. It pretty much impossible to have both. One is gonna suffer if the other is so dominant. 

They were one dropped pass away from losing. They did not play very well at all.
