December 8, 2024Dec 8 I get why people worry about Jalen, but 66% completion, three total TDs and no turnovers. Who needs more than that when we are so effective on the ground? He also had some big time runs. In a game like today we needed a game manager and not heroics. He managed the game. That was enough. Next week is next week, but today is today J. Hurts 14/21 108 yards 2 TDs 0 INTs

Whoever was the play caller at the start of the game sucked... pretty sure it was Moore. Hurts was far from perfect, but offensively the play calling didn't help Hurts. And Hurts made some bone headed decisions.

His QB ability as a pocket passer cannot be rectified, he’s just not that type of QB. He has a limited skill set and that’s been good enough for him to continue as our QB, but he’s regressing. He’s got all that talent around him, and yet he cannot use it to its fullest. He’s beyond correcting. I agree with everything else you mentioned about him - including the Taylor comparison. I hope we look into getting a QB to challenge him in a year or two through FA or the draft. Maybe its time to look into trading Hurts next year, I am not sure of the Cap implications but it is criminal to have such a good team led by such avg to below avg QB play. People are saying Kellen Moore has revolutionized the offense, lol, he has done nothing of that sort. Moore is just limiting Hurts from passing the ball because he knows the more his QB passes, the more mistakes he will make that will cost the team games. However these pathetic 100 odd yards passing games, that's just not gonna cut it..

December 8, 2024Dec 8 The Bengals put up 38 points last week...and lost because their defense gave up 44 points.

I know some are there already and I’m not quite yet… But I am worried that every week we think he’ll be better and he just isn’t. As I said, he’s regressing. It’s unfortunate, but he was a good system QB when Steichen was here. But eventually teams figure you out. Two years removed from Steichen’s sytstem with the same talent and he’s now pedestrian to borderline awful with some of his play/decision making. His poor decisions nearly cost us the game today on our last possession. If he hasn’t figured out Moore’s scheme by now, he most certainly never will - but that goes with any coordinator at this point in his career imo.

We're 11-2 and people want Hurts to throw more??? Why????????????? So then the same people would complain we need to run more?!?!?!?!?!? Makes zero sense unless you have AJ, Smith, on your fantasy team. This is real life! Run the ball, control the clock, keep the D fresh. 2017.... its not rocket science. If something works, you do it. Do you also complain about the tush push??? It f-in works, so you do it!!!

Okay well I’ll do everyone a favour and just walk away from any conversation with you. We don’t need to interact but if you want to then go ahead. I’m not going to.

I get that he managed the game to eke out a win, but that’s eventually gonna bite us in the ass in the playoffs. Our surrounding offensive talent and especially our defense deserve better than just managing from their QB.
December 8, 2024Dec 8 I hear you, and I'm not going to say you're entirely wrong because you aren't. But that's nine on the bounce now, that doesn't happen often in the NFL, nor for the Eagles. Let's just enjoy this. Aren't we supposed to enjoy sports? Better than letting it give you an anuerysm

He set back Herbert last year with his scheme. Maybe he’s a one year wonder too with the success he had in Dallas. I hope some teams are seriously considering him for a head coaching job, cause he’s a good part of the problem as well. Still, I don’t believe any replacement will fix Jalen’s issues and that’s unfortunate.

Barkley having a more pedestrian game is in spite of Jalen and the offenses lack of cohesion and confidence in the passing game.
December 8, 2024Dec 8 Defense looked tired. Likely hungover from last week. I don't think the birds recorded a Sack. Got beat constantly on slants and were chasing Hubbard and Young from behind all day. They eeked out a win against a bad team. If they play like this against a Minnesota or Detroit, we lose by 3 scores.

I have been there about four games ago....he is just not it...I ate crow before when we reached the superbowl but since then I am back to my original stance...he is NOT that guy.....he has a very limited skillset which is he excels at the RPO but a traditional QB is not him. Can you just imagine what McNabb or Vick could have done with this amount of talent??

I think the panthers lost the game rather than us winning it

I mean imagine this team with even a Geno Smith!
