Yeah it’s tough because whilst Hurts isn’t playing well he still has made big plays in the last few games. Even today he made some big plays on 3rd down. But for sure he’s holding back this offense right now.

Look at Josh Allen throwing for double the yards against the Rams and takes an L better than you take the D.
December 9, 2024Dec 9 Hurts blows as a QB, can't read the field. When can the eagles get out of his contract?

I find it unresponsive sometimes for a few seconds when I click on a link. Once the click is recognized it loads quickly enough considering I was using a 10 year old laptop with a wifi 4 connection.
December 9, 2024Dec 9 Couldn’t watch the game live but just watched it on DVR so I could slow things down and rewatch plays. Dline did a bad job containing the run. That said, Carter is an animal. The officiating is a problem. Again. The number of missed holding calls and hands to the face was absurd. Regarding Hurts, he was missing wide open AJ, Devonta and Saquon all game. He’s SO hesitant. He can manage the game and sometimes makes unbelievable plays but missing wide open players consistently is unacceptable. It’s not like this is a one off. It happens every week. I actually like Hurts but his weaknesses are glaring. I still think we can win it all with him as long as he’s not turning the ball over, we feed Barkley and our defense is on point. But, man, it’s frustrating to see him not capitalize on potential completions so often.
December 9, 2024Dec 9 AJ was pretty agitated. He knows. He and Hurts are friends so he will probably speak to him. Smitty too. We really need Hurts to open his eyes.
December 9, 2024Dec 9 Hurts' explanation of his taking a sack rather than throwing it away was pathetic. He said there was an RPO on so he didn't want to throw it as there was likely an illegal man down field by that time so he chose to take the sack. Even if that flag is thrown they get 1st down over again at 1st and 15. By taking the 8 yard sack it is then 2nd and 18. He's plain dumb. Straight up dumb. 200MM for the computing power of a Commodore 64 is a bad investment.

It was a dumb decision in the moment and after his explanation you are kind of scratching your head even more and it’s a even dumber decision.

Lose a close one next week, this place will go into meltdown Holier than thou, self righteous and just a little bit better than everyone in "this place", huh? People here don't like when their good team plays half assed football, when their QB can't pass, when they lack effort. That's called caring, and it's also called passion. Even AJ Brown was seriously pissed off at Hurts for not being able to hit wide open receivers. Watch his interview. So to have a smug little sheeeiiit like you make a comment about "this place"- you don't like us, you don't like us, you don't liiiiike us, we don't care. Go Birds!!! 🤣🦅
December 9, 2024Dec 9 Holier than nobody, just have an opinion like everyone else. And my opinion is that we can´t even enjoy matching our longest win streak in franchise history without many people sounding like their cat has taken a dump in their breakfast cereal. Each to their own. I care about this team, I care about its performance and results, but it´s just a hobby. It´s not that serious.

There was the play Hurts went to check Smith into a slant with the blitz coming from that side. Smith ran a hitch and the play went nowhere. The QB and WR's weren't on the same page to start the game.
December 9, 2024Dec 9 Noone should be surprised. Hurts has always struggled to read and see the field. And he was never an above average passer. Kelce covered up alot of these issues calling line assignments and more. Now this year alot of that responsibility was transferred to Hurts and it's showing. He is mobile and a good game manager when he's not asked to do to much. It is what it is.

Classic trap game coming off 2 divisional games, then a pretty good O in the Rams and then Baltimore. I think they were looking ahead to Pitts. At least I hope that's what it was. I believe this team deserves the benefit of the doubt from what we have seen this year.
