Like, FFS, at the tail end of the video (around 19s left), when it zooms in you can see the actual Fn plane. You can even tell it’s flying left to right because you can see the green nav light, which are on the starboard side of the plane. 
 

Do you think aliens came to the same consensus we did about naval navigation where ships give way to ships on the starboard side, and decided to indicate the sides of ships with red and green lights, and that the alien spacecraft navigation took their navigational rules from the alien maritime practices?

Most compelling evidence yet that aliens are intelligent life forms. They copied the exact same light pattern and shape of our airplanes for their aircraft. Then they studied our flight patterns and use the same maneuvers in the air.  They won't fool us looking up from the ground!

Now that you mention it, I was just on a domestic flight this past summer. I must have been the only human being onboard the flight. Everybody else seemed odd.

That's actually the first one I knew of. Didn't know it was a reference to Close Encounters until years after I saw UHF. Same with Richards' rant about being "mad as hell and aint gonna take it anymore!" There are probably so many other references that flew over my head like that.
