Blame the refs for being soft. The first time he was just talking. The second time they didn’t even have a replay to show. That about tells us all we needed to know.

There is a fine line with CJGJ and Carter. You want them to play on the edge, but at the same time, they need to have some self control to not get thrown out of the game. Once the first flag came, he needs to not put himself in the position to pick up the second one. It was stupid, undisciplined and selfish from a leader of this defense.

He may have instigated the first penalty, but there was no excuse for the official looking right at the retaliation to not penalize that shot to the helmet as well. Then to throw a player out for trash talking only is just something I've never seen. Lattimore did just as much talking out there and only got flagged for his lack of coverage skills.

I'm not heart-broken. We lost a game we could have won. I'm not happy about it, but am looking forward to the return of Hurts.

Right and look it was heart breaking in my opinion the manner we lost. But yeah I do take your point. Problem is? We likely have to play him week 18 in a must win game to get the #2 seed.

They’ve been plucky the last few weeks. They beat Washington and handled Carolina (something we didn’t). We should beat them but if Pickett plays then I don’t see it.

It bothers me that Hurts seemed perfectly fine and capable of coming back and they didn't allow him to come back.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a player get punched and he’s the one to get the penalty.

Win next weekend and the division (along with 2 seed) are locked up.  We can also do so without winning should Washington lose.  In either case week 18 can be a rest weekend for most starters if Sirianni elects to do so.
