Yeah. It’s pretty dumb to be mad about. Every other flag in the country will be half-staff that day. It’s been 30 days of mourning for a former President since the Eisenhower administration. But these are the same people that got mad at a football player because he didn’t salute the flag the same way they wanted him too.
 

Trump is mad the country is showing respect to somebody else. It’s not all about him.

Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton are the perfect examples of why the President only needs to be a good leader. He doesn’t need to be a good person. Carter was arguably the worst President of all time. Clinton was the best in modern history.

Just read an article earlier today and learned something that I don't think I had previously known, and that's that the Carters had 3 sons. All these years, I thought that Amy was an only child. Or if I knew of the sons, I'd forgotten knowing about them.

They were already grown when he took office.  Amy got the press because she was the first kid in the WH since the Kennedy years

Yeah, but I'd have thought that they'd have come up at some point over the years. Maybe they did but I just never took notice. I was only a kid when he was elected, so Amy was the only one I ever heard of back in the day. I think she's a year or three older than me.
